
Niger Pension Board Releases Lists for Gratuity and Death Gratuity Payments

The Niger State Pension Board has again released the lists of eligible Local Government pensioners and Next-of-Kin (NOK) beneficiaries following the approved payment batches by the state government.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Director General/CEO Niger State Pension Board, Alhaji Nasiru Saidu Namaska in Minna, said they are the Local Government Gratuity – Batch 5 and Local Government Death Gratuity – Batch 3.
Namaska stated that the lists will be made available for public viewing on Friday, 9 October 2026, at 2:00 pm at the Niger State Pension Board Headquarters, Minna, while assuring to serve pensioners with integrity, transparency and commitment at all times.
He advised all eligible beneficiaries to check the published lists and make the necessary preparations for the cheque collection commencing on Monday, 12 October 2026, from 11:00 a.m.
According to him, local Government beneficiaries and Next-of-Kin beneficiaries are required to collect their cheques at their respective designated zonal centres as follows:While given the breakdown, Saidu Namaska informed that ZONE A – BIDA
Beneficiaries should report to the Zonal Headquarters, Bida, located at the Bida Local Government Secretariat.
Meanwhile, ZONE B – MINNA
Beneficiaries should report to the Niger State Pension Board Headquarters, Minna, that of ZONE C – KONTAGORA Beneficiaries should report to the Kontagora Local Government Secretariat, Kontagora respectively.
The Director General have advised all beneficiaries to come along with the necessary documents required for identification, verification, and cheque collection.
He encouraged beneficiaries to report to their designated collection centres promptly and to follow all instructions issued by officials of the Niger State Pension Board to ensure a smooth and orderly exercise.
The Niger State Pension Board appreciates the continued patience, understanding, and cooperation of all pensioners, Next-of-Kin beneficiaries, and members of the public.
The Board remains firmly committed to ensuring the prompt, transparent, accountable, and orderly payment of all approved retirement benefits and entitlements.
