The Member of the House of Representatives, represeting Darazo-Ganjuwa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, Hon Mansur Manu Soro, has exited the crisis laden Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Mansur Manu Soro made the announcement vide a letter adddresed to the Ward Chairman of the PDP in Ganjuwa ward, of Ganjuwa LGA, on Saturday, dated 1st May 2026.
Chairman of the House Committee on Small and Medium Enterprises, titled his letter,
“Resignation of Membership”.
He wrote, “I wish to refer to the above subject matter to communicate my decision to resign my party membership of the party effective 30th April 2026.”
According to him, “My resignation is caused by the internal division and irreconcilable wranglings bedeviling the party over the last two years.”.
Mansur Manu Soro further wrote, “I wish to extend my sincere gratitude to the party for
giving me the rare privilege to represent my beloved
constituency-Darazo/Ganjuwa – at the National Assembly.”
The Federal Lawmaker did not however indicate what platform will be the next as he had earlier indicated interest in aspiring for the Senate from the Bauchi Central Senatorial District.
