Emir of Lame in Bauchi State, Alhaji Aliyu Yakubu Lame has congratulated Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Muhammed on the occasion of his 68th birthday anniversary which comes on Monday, 5th October, 2026.
The Emir’s message was contained in a statement signed and issued the Chief of Staff to the Emir, Babangida Suleiman Lame, made available to Journalists on Sunday in Bauchi.
The Emir made the congratulations on behalf of his family and the Traditional institution of Lame Emirate Council as well as the people describing the Governor’s tenure in the State as marked by wisdom, peace, and progress.
According to him, “Your reign has witnessed a remarkable transformation in traditional leadership and meaningful collaboration with all people of Bauchi State a collaboration that transformed the State, infact your guidance and statesmanlike disposition have remained a source of inspiration to all of us in the State.”
“As you celebrate this remarkable milestone, we pray that Almighty Allah continues to bless you with long life, good health, and wisdom to continue steering the affairs of the Bauchi State with honour and dignity,” Emir stated.
He further stated, “Your Excellency, your journey is one of wisdom, courage and unwavering service to the people of Bauchi State. You are a leader who listens; a builder who dreams and a governor who delivers dividends of democracy to electorates”.
The added, “At 68, your vision continues to inspire, your leadership unites, and your legacy shines brighter than ever across our beloved Bauchi State. Under your leadership, Bauchi State enjoys a peaceful atmosphere, becoming one of the most peaceful states in the country.”
“As we join you celebrate this milestone today, we pray may Almighty Allah bless you with long life, strength, health and greater victories as you steer our state toward prosperity and peace,” he added.
He described the milestone as an important occasion to express gratitude to Almighty Allah for the blessings of life, good health, and the opportunity to continue serving the people.
The Emir also prayed for the Governor to be blessed with greater wisdom, good health, strength, long life, and success in the discharge of his responsibilities.
He prayed that Almighty Allah continues to grant His Excellency the wisdom and capacity to lead and serve the people for the continued development of Bauchi State and the wellbeing of its citizens.
The Emir prayed that Almighty Allah grants the Governor many more years of good health and abundant blessings, and makes his life and service a source of greater benefit to the people and the entire State.
The monarch urged leaders to provide good governance and ensure that the country’s resources are used for the benefit of the people, stressing that it is abnormal for Nigerians to be surrounded by abundant resources yet experience hardship and deprivation.
He appealed to Nigerians to remain hopeful and steadfast, assuring them that God has not forgotten the country or its people.
Emir expressed optimism that at the appropriate time, God would remember Nigeria, restore hope to the people and set the country on the right path of peace, progress and prosperity.
