By: Adelowo Oladipo, Minna

The State Executives of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger State has announced it’s campaign council leadership structure charged with driving the election of Malam Muhammad Mamman  Nami, the PDP Governorship Candidate in Niger State ahead of the 2027 General Elections in the state.
The campaign council announcement was made by the Niger State Chairman of the PDP,  Halidu Aliyu Muhammad (Kauran Borgu) at the party Secretariat in Minna, this is as 2027 related campaign activities hit high gears across the country.
Malam Nami is the immediate past Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), formerly Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), and favourite to cause an upset in the gubernatorial election.
This is aimed at unseating the incumbent  governor Mohammed Umar Bago of the ruling APC government and returning Niger state to the PDP fold, which the state was known to be from 1999 until the late former President Muhammadu Buhari effect of 2015 caused a glitch for the party nationwide.
.
According to the official appointment, Alhaji Gambo Ladan has been appointed as the Director-General (DG) of the Nami Campaign Organisation while Arc. Suleiman (Maibabur) was appointed as the Campaign Advisory Chairman.
The official appointment letters were presented to the appointees by Hon. Dahiru DanAzumi Abdul who is the 2027 deputy Governorship Candidate of the Niger state People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The party’s leadership expressed confidence that the appointees’ wealth of experience, commitment, and proven leadership will bring renewed hope, energy, unity, and strategic direction to the Nami governorship campaign.
