A students political group called “Kaura-Yakubu students mobilization network” has endorsed the candidature of Bala Muhammad as Senator for Bauchi South and that of Yakubu Adamu as Governor under the platform of the Allied people’s movement come 2027 general election.
The students mobilization network marked the endorsement at an event organized in support of Senator Bala abdulkadir Muhammad and Yakubu Adamu, with a caption “Support for greater Bauchi state,” held on Sunday.
Leading the endorsement, the Convener of the programme, Comrade Bello Aminu said, their decision followed a careful consideration that APM is the only political party in Bauchi state that gave governorship ticket to youth.
According to him, Governor Bala Muhammad gave opportunities for youths to serve in different positions in his administration, assuring that Yakubu Adamu as a youth himself will continue in that direction.
Bello Aminu, emphasized that the quality leadership exhibited by Governor Bala Muhammad and Yakubu Adamu in government brought about massive investment in human capital development and better education for all people of the state.
The Convener called on all members of the students mobilization network to engage in massive campaigns to their families, relatives and other people around them to support Bala abdulkadir Muhammad as senator Bauchi state and Yakubu Adamu as Governor.
In his speech, Governor Bala Mohammed, represented by Special Adviser on Youths and Entrepreneurship, Comrade Atiku Isa said, his government among other things had increased monthly subversion of State owned Sa’adu zungur University from 40 to 440 million naira.
Bala Mohammed, while calling members of the students group to ensure continuenity in governance by campaigning for APM in Bauchi state come 2027, emphasized that the numerous capital projects executed by his administration will benefit even the unborn generations.
Bala Mohammed assured more opportunities to women and youths in the state, particularly on technology initiatives, economic empowerment, youth programs and sustenance of the investment summit.
Also speaking, the governorship candidate of the Allied People’s Movement, Yakubu Adamu represented by Permanent Commissioner, State Scholarship Board, Hussaini Saraki, said considering the popularity of the party in all nooks and crannies of the state, APM will emerge victorious in 2027.
Yakubu Adamu emphasized that his government will consolidate on the successes recorded by Bala Muhammad administration, especially on capital projects, health, education, economy and youths empowerment.
