By: Monday Danladi, Bauchi

The Bala Wunti Support Organisation (BWSO) has reaffirmed its commitment to mobilising grassroots support in Bauchi for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The organisation said its goal is tied to its wider push for national growth, youth inclusion and development. BWSO maintains an active structure across Bauchi State’s 20 local government areas.

Earlier, BWSO set a target of mobilising more than 500,000 votes for President Tinubu in Bauchi State. The organisation said it would use its wide grassroots network to drive this effort.

The Chief Executive Officer of BWSO, Malam Mukhtar Ahmed Jarmajo, said this on Sunday when he received leaders of the City Boy Movement, Bauchi State Chapter, at the BWSO headquarters.

He said BWSO remains open to working with groups that share its goals. He added that such partnerships would help build stronger grassroots structures and wider public engagement.

Jarmajo said BWSO would continue to support efforts linked to the APC-led Federal Government. He stressed the need for unity, strong coordination and peaceful civic engagement as the 2027 elections draw near.

Speaking, the Director-General of the City Boy Movement, Bauchi State Chapter, Comrade Jafar Ibrahim Dass, commended BWSO for its work in women and youth leadership, capacity building and empowerment.

He said the organisation’s grassroots reach offers room for stronger joint action.

He also sought a partnership with BWSO to deepen youth civic engagement, skills development and empowerment across Bauchi State, as contained in a statement signed by Kamal Ibrahim, Public Relations Officer, Bala Wunti Support Organisation (BWSO).
