Danbayo Donates Learning Materials to Schools in Gombe

By Abubakar Rabilu, Gombe

The founder of Danbayo’s Foundation, Amb. Yusuf Musa Danbayo, has donated educational materials to schools in Billiri East and Billiri West Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) of Gombe State as part of efforts to support the state government’s drive to improve education.

The initiative, which included Tal Central Primary School among the beneficiaries, is aimed at strengthening classroom teaching, improving learning outcomes and easing the burden on parents and teachers.

The donation comprised 500 exercise books, rulers, biros, pencils, sharpeners and erasers each, as well as class registers, lesson plan books, markers and dusters for teachers.

Danbayo’s intervention reflects his commitment to emulating Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s emphasis on education and complementing government efforts to expand access to quality learning opportunities.

The foundation said providing essential learning materials would help create a more conducive environment for teaching and learning, particularly for pupils who might otherwise struggle to obtain basic school supplies.

As part of the visit, Danbayo, who holds the traditional title of Dallatun Doma Gombe, paid homage to the Mai Tangale, His Royal Highness, Malam Danladi Sunusi Maiyamba, to seek his blessings and prayers for the success of the foundation’s activities.

The visit also highlighted the importance of traditional institutions in promoting education, peace, unity and sustainable community development.

The foundation reaffirmed its commitment to supporting underserved communities, stressing that every child should have the opportunity to learn and develop their potential, irrespective of family circumstances.

It expressed appreciation to traditional rulers, school authorities, teachers, parents and community leaders for their support, while pledging to sustain initiatives that empower children and contribute to educational development across Gombe State.

The foundation operates under the motto, “Together We Bring Hope,” with a mission to empower minds, protect lives, serve humanity and transform communities.
