The Initiative for Better and Brighter Nigeria (IBBN) Bauchi State Chapter recently hosted a peace-building event, which brought together prominent individuals, including Pastor Jibi Iliya Goshit, Honorable Musa Sa’idu Samaila, and Honorable Steven Paul Bigi.
The event aimed to promote peace, inclusivity, tolerance, and transformation in Nigeria.
In his remarks, Pastor Jibi Iliya Goshit, emphasized the importance of peace-building, stating that it is crucial for Nigeria’s progress.
He noted that peace is not just the absence of conflict but also involves promoting understanding and respect among different groups.
The Clergyman called on Nigerians to work together towards building a better nation, where everyone can coexist peacefully.
He also highlighted the role of sports in fostering unity and peace, citing the recent friendly football match between CAN and JNI as an example.
Furthermore, Pastor Goshit stressed that peace-building is a collective responsibility and urged Nigerians to embrace tolerance and inclusivity, emphasizing the need for Nigerians to work towards building a nation that is peaceful and prosperous.
He noted that peace is a fundamental human right that is essential for national development. Pastor Goshit calling on Nigerians to shun violence and instead focus on promoting understanding and respect among different groups.
He also highlighted the role of sports in fostering unity and peace and stressed that peace-building is a collective responsibility and urged Nigerians to embrace tolerance and inclusivity.

The coordinator, Jeremiah Dan’Asabe, who spoke on behalf of IBBN Bauchi Chapter, emphasized the organization’s commitment to promoting peace and development in Nigeria.
He noted that IBBN is working towards building a better Nigeria, where everyone can live in peace and prosperity.
The Coordinator called on Nigerians to join hands with IBBN and work towards achieving this goal, highlighting the importance of inclusivity and tolerance in achieving peace and urged Nigerians to embrace these values
Furthermore, the Coordinator stressed that peace-building is a continuous process and urged Nigerians to be patient and persistent.
