Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, on Saturday, 14th February, 2026 caught his Cabinet members unawares when he arrived venue of a function far ahead of them.
The Governor and his Wife arrived the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH), Bauchi, venue of a free medical outreach organised by the State Government through the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management in collaboration with American Medical Centre of Excellence and the ATBUTH.
The programme was scheduled to commence at 9am and the Governor was prompt in arrival meeting only one Commissioner and the Chief of Staff on the ground.
In his usual practice, the Governor went round the stands to greet the people around, exchanged pleasantries with those around the venue and then took his seat for the commencement of the programme.
A visibly angry Bala Mohammed kept his calm waiting for the Commissioners to arrive while the programme went on. Some of the Commissioners who later came in were seen looking for corners to seat down without wanting to be noticed by the Governor.
