The Commissioner of Police Niger State Police Command, CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman has assured Nigerlites of a peaceful Eid-Fitr sallah celebration with the deployment of about 5,000 personnel to mega cities and hot spots across the state.
The CP stated this during an interview with newsmen in his office at the Headquarters of the State Police Command,Dutshen Kura Hausa on Tuesday in Minna, saying that both conventional and tactical teams of the command have been briefed on the operational orders.
CP Adamu Elleman who pledged a rancor free 2026 Sallah celebration as measures have been put in place to unrivalled any unforeseen circumstances in collaboration with sister security agencies in the state.
The Police Boss who emphasized the importance of synergy in security operations, assured of standby team for destress calls in case of emergency to curtain anomalies.
CP Elleman advised residents of Niger state,Christians and Muslims alike to imbibe the teachings of fasting while bring them closer to their Creator and shun all forms of criminality to ensure peace and stability in the society.
He called on the general public to cooperate with the security agencies especially the Nigerian Police who is responsible for the internal security measures by providing useful information in order to provide the required security for the citizens.
