The Niger State Police Command, under the leadership of amiable CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, received two new patrol vehicles donated by a philanthropist and friend of the Command for operational activities of Police Divisions in Bida.
The Commissioner appreciated the kind gesture of the donor, while assuring that the vehicles will be judiciously used to strengthen Policing and boost operational capacity of both Divisions in the area, towards ensuring a more secured environment for economic growth and development.
The CP thereby encouraged other eminent personalities to emulate such gesture and contribute towards security and development of their communities.
He added that the government alone may not be able to attend to every community’s needs immediately due to enormous responsibilities, therefore such intervention and collaboration are necessary for urban development.
