The Principal of Markaz College, under the Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), Gombe, Sheikh Zakariya Ajiya, has urged graduating students of the NCE College in BCGA, Gombe, to be good ambassadors of the institution.

Sheikh Zakariya gave the advice during the graduation ceremony, reminding the graduates that their training had equipped them with discipline, respect for elders, Islamic knowledge and modern education.

He encouraged them not to stop at the NCE level but to pursue higher education, including university and postgraduate studies, stressing that further education would broaden their knowledge and create greater opportunities for them in the future.

The principal also urged the graduates to remain committed to the values they acquired during their studies and use their knowledge to contribute positively to their communities.

Similarly, the Registrar of Markaz College, Malam Habibullah Salihu, advised the graduates to seek teaching opportunities, particularly in schools where they could put their knowledge and skills to good use.

He said securing any lawful employment was better than remaining idle, urging the graduates to be productive and contribute meaningfully to society.

Salihu expressed optimism that the Gombe State Government would continue to create more employment opportunities for young people.

He commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for his efforts in strengthening security and improving the education sector in the state.

The registrar also called on other governors in the Northern states to emulate Governor Yahaya’s leadership style, particularly in the areas of education and security.

He concluded by praying for the success of the graduates and the continued peace and prosperity of Gombe State and Nigeria.

Some of the graduating students, who spoke during interviews, expressed happiness over the successful completion of their studies, describing the graduation as a significant milestone in their lives.

They thanked their teachers for their dedication and for imparting valuable knowledge and skills that they said would guide them in their future endeavours.

The graduates also expressed appreciation to their parents, families and the management of the institution for their support and encouragement throughout their studies.
