Accord Party commissions secretariat in Niger

He added that in the next few months, Niger State will become Accords against the backdrops of the fact that  they have the capacity and strategy to take the Party to a  greater height as the Party is having its presence in the  274 wards of the State, saying  “Accord Party is having its presence today in the whole 274 wards of the State.” The acting chairman stated.

Abdulazeez Salawudeen stated further  that the party also has its presence in the 4,450 polling units of the State.

According to him, “the Accord party presently has State House of Assembly and Federal House of Representatives aspirants in the State.

The National Treasurer of the Party seized the forum to call on more members to come out and contest for different elective positions under the platform of the party, because it has more prospect and the only political party that operates without god-fatherism.

On receiving some Party members who decamped  into the arms of the Accord Party, in Niger State, the acting chairman of the party in the State was quick to add that the Party has that capacity to accommodate all these difficulties., stressing that “If we can have the capacity to accommodate a governor, a sitting governor of a state,and all  its cabinet, including all its supporters in the state, you can see that Accord has capacity anywhere to accommodate anybody,” he stated.

The National Treasurer further informed journalists in his Media briefing that some committees have been constituted across all the 25 local government areas of Niger State to go round and start mobilizing and sensitizing people for membership drive.

 “And very soon, we are constituting Youth Alliance and Women Alliance in all the polling units of Niger State.”Hon. Abdulazeez Salawudeen re emphasized that the commissioning of the Secretariat marks a new chapter of their pursuits to good governance, unity, oneness and progress for our dear state.

“This building will serve as a hub for our party activities, a centre for engaging with our people, Nigerlites, and a symbol of our commitment to serving Niger State,he declared.

He urged members of the party in the State to, “Let us work together to build a party that is responsive, inclusive and dedicated to the well-being of all our citizens”. .

“Accord is the only party for the masses without god-fatherism who will impose candidates or elections and influence how government is run for personal aggrandisement. Our party, Accord, has the best manifesto among the registered political parties in the country.

“The party is also the most peaceful, stable, united, progressive and inclusive in Nigerian political circle.” the chairman affirmed.

Members of the Accord Party who witnessed the commissioning of the Party Secretariat immediately after their congress meeting at the Mobil Motor Park in  Minna took their turns to apologies the acting chairman and national treasurer of the Accord Party as a man of honour, who took the party to where it is today through his transparency, accountability and truthfulness, who spent his personal wealth in the course of transforming the party.An elder of the party, Adamu Umar after eulogizing the acting chairman, informed the gathering that Accord has no faction anywhere, neither at the National Assembly nor at any state level of the country. The party remains one united indivisible family.

“I want to assure you that there is hope for a better and greater Niger State and Nigeria at large. Accord is the platform God will use to redirect the sheep of our dear state from hardship.

It is a privileged cause to the path of rectitude, progress, development and advancement.I salute the vision and tenacity of Accord, ”the acting State  chairman concluded.
