Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti, has been commended for answering the numerous calls on him to seek the 2027 Bauchi State gubernatorial ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) by declaring his interest in the contest.
The commendation was made by members of the Wunti Street Igbo Traders Association, through the Chairman, Chief Emeka Aneke Ekwueme, in a press statement he signed and made available to Journalists on Monday.
The Association stated that now that he has publicly declared interest in the contest, its members who are members of the APC will work for him to get the APC ticket during the part primaries to ensure that he got it.
Thereafter, all members of the Association who belong to other parties will rally round during the general elections in 2027, to vote massively for him as the APC gubernatorial candidate.
The Chairman states, “The esteemed APC Governorship Aspirant of Bauchi State, widely recognized as Bala Wunti, stands as a remarkable symbol of integrity, compassion, and purposeful leadership in our society today.”
According to him, “In an era where many leaders struggle to match their words with actions, he has consistently distinguished himself as a man whose word is his bond, firm, reliable, and unquestionable.”
Emeka Aneke added that, “He is not just a public office holder, but a true destiny helper, a man divinely positioned to uplift others and bring light into the lives of those who have lost hope.”
He stressed, “His generosity knows no bounds, and his willingness to extend a helping hand to the less privileged speaks volumes about the depth of his character. For him, leadership is not about personal gain or recognition, but about service, impact, and leaving lives better than he met them.”
He added that by answering the calls to aspire for Bauchi 2027 guber ticket of the APC, Bala Maijama’a Wunti has demonstrated time and again that true greatness lies in sacrifice.
According to him,”He has given his time, his resources, and his strength to ensure that people around him are empowered, supported, and encouraged to rise above their limitations.”
“Whether it is through community development, humanitarian efforts, or personal interventions, he has remained steadfast in his mission to make a difference,” he added.
He further stated that, “His leadership style is rooted in empathy and accountability. He listens, he understands, and he acts. These rare qualities have earned him the respect, admiration, and loyalty of many who see in him not just a leader, but a father figure, a mentor, and a pillar of support.”
The Association Chairman added that,”Indeed, Bala Wunti is a man of honor, a man of the people, and a shining example of what true leadership should be. His legacy is being written not just in projects and positions, but in the countless lives he has touched and transformed. May his good works continue to speak loudly, and may his path remain guided by wisdom, strength, and divine grace as he continues to serve humanity with passion and dedication.”
He then stared that,”Now that he is aspiring to lead Bauchi State
to ‘Reassured Hope come 2027’, we pray for wisdom among the stakeholders from APC National to Ward Level. The royal Father’s, the religious leaders , the Wunti community and the entire citizens of Bauchi State, that merits and capacity shall prevail in our decision making.
