The Executive Chairman of Chanchaga Local Government Council, Dr. Mustapha Mohammed Jibril, has formally received Alarama Suleiman Isma’il, who emerged overall second in the prestigious National Qur’anic Competition (Musabuqa), in recognition of his remarkable achievement
Alarama Suleiman Isma’il represented Niger State under the banner of the Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), whose national headquarters is located in Jos.
Speaking on behalf of the organization, Sheikh Amb. (Dr.) Jibril Abdullah congratulated the young scholar for making Niger State proud and commended Dr. Jibril for his leadership.
He urged the Council Boss to continue to maximize his strengths and capacities in service to the people, while offering prayers for the success of the administration of the Stats Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago and that of Dr. Mustaphs Jibril.
Also addressing the gathering, the Director of Finance and Supply, Alhaji Haruna Musa Manta, described Dr. Jibril as “a transparent, fair minded , honest, and a committed leader.”
He noted that within just six weeks of working with the Council Chairman, he had gained valuable insights from his leadership style and dedication to excellence.
In his response, Dr. Jibril warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed appreciation to the Ulama’u for their prayers, counsel, and support. He reaffirmed his resolve to lead with the fear of God and to sustain collaboration with religious and community-based organizations for the overall development of Chanchaga Local Government Council.
The Chairman further appealed to the delegation to continue praying for the Executive Governor of Niger State and for improved security across the state, stressing the importance of collective spiritual support for peace and progress.
The visit underscored Dr. Jibril’s commitment to recognizing excellence, promoting moral values, and fostering partnerships with stakeholders.
It also highlighted the enduring significance of Qur’anic recitation in nurturing discipline, character, and excellence within the society, while reinforcing the need for sustained cooperation between government and religious organizations in driving community development.
