After being selected as the consensus candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 Gombe South Senatorial District election, Dr Jerry Joseph Damara urged fellow aspirants, stakeholders, and residents to come together, work collaboratively, and remain committed to advancing the development and prosperity of the district.
Mr Damara expressed his sincere appreciation to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for the confidence placed in him.
He described the support as strong encouragement to serve the people with dedication and integrity.
He said the time has come for everyone to put aside their differences and focus on building a stronger and more united Gombe South.
He appealed to fellow aspirants and their supporters to join hands with him in moving the district forward.
“I warmly invite my fellow aspirants to work with me. We may come from different positions, but we share the same goal — to see Gombe South grow and succeed.
“Together, we can build something better for our people,” he said.
He stressed that real progress can only be achieved through unity, fresh ideas, and inclusive leadership.
He called on party members, young people, women, and community leaders to be part of a new direction focused on development, opportunity, and lasting change.
“Our mission is clear , to work together and deliver real development that will improve the daily lives of our people,” he stated.
He assured the people of Gombe South that he remains committed to listening, engaging, and working closely with all communities to ensure that no one is left behind.
Mr Damara concluded by urging everyone to remain united and focused, noting that the future of Gombe South depends on collective effort and a shared vision.
