Gombe State Governor and Chairman of the Northern Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has felicitated with the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya, in a congratulatory message on behalf of the Government and people of Gombe State, as well as the APC family in the state, described the milestone as an opportunity to celebrate the National Chairman’s life of service, excellence and commitment to the growth of the party and the progress of Nigeria.
The Governor commended Professor Yilwatda for the leadership he has provided since assuming the position of National Chairman, noting that his tenure has been characterised by political maturity, inclusiveness, discipline and purposeful engagement.
He particularly praised the APC National Chairman’s ability to deploy his wealth of experience in academia, public administration and technology to strengthen the party’s structures and advance its institutional development.
According to Governor Inuwa Yahaya, Professor Yilwatda’s leadership has further demonstrated that the APC remains committed to building a stronger, more cohesive and forward-looking political organisation capable of providing effective leadership for the country.
He expressed confidence that under Professor Yilwatda’s stewardship, the APC would continue to consolidate its achievements, deepen internal cohesion, expand its national reach and retain its position as Nigeria’s dominant political platform.

“Your unique blend of academic excellence, bureaucratic experience and technological expertise has continued to enrich our party and position it for greater accomplishments,” the Governor said.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya further assured the National Chairman of the continued support and solidarity of the APC family in Gombe State, while wishing him many more years of impactful service to the party and the nation.
He prayed Almighty God to grant Professor Yilwatda continued good health, greater wisdom, renewed strength and divine guidance as he steers the affairs of the APC and contributes to the advancement of Nigeria’s democracy, as contained in a statement signedby Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General, (Press Affairs), Government House, Gombe.
