The National APC Christian Leaders Forum of Nigeria (NACLFON), Bauchi State Chapter, has congratulated Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, SAN, on his well-deserved emergence as the gubernatorial candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for Bauchi State ahead of the 2027 General Elections.
According to NACLFON, “This victory is not only a reflection of his political acceptability and leadership capacity, but also a confirmation of the confidence reposed in him by party stakeholders and the good people of Bauchi State based on his track record of service, experience, competence, and commitment to democratic governance.”
It stressed that,”We return all glory to Almighty God for answering our prayers concerning this project. Particularly, on the 9th of this month, before the official announcement of the victory, we gathered in faith and prayed earnestly unto God concerning the emergence of His Excellency, and today we rejoice because God has graciously answered our prayers.”
The body stressed that,”We sincerely appreciate the National Coordinator of NACLFON, the National Executive Council, and the entire leadership of the forum for their support, encouragement, prayers, and confidence in the Bauchi State Chapter throughout this process. We also commend members of the Bauchi State Chapter for their sacrifices, unity, dedication, and steadfast commitment.”
“Our profound appreciation also goes to Her Excellency, Hajiya Barrister Aisha M. A. Abubakar, for the opportunity given to us to collaborate with her support group during this historic movement. Her humility, strategic coordination, and commitment to the success of this project are deeply appreciated,” it added.
The group further stated that, “We equally recognize and appreciate Comrade Mbami Iliya Sabka for his sacrifice, open arms, accessibility, and tireless commitment throughout the process. His support and encouragement to many young leaders and stakeholders remain commendable and worthy of recognition.”
“Furthermore, we commend the APC stakeholders, elders, and leaders across Bauchi State for standing together in unity and wisdom to support the emergence of M. A. Abubakar, SAN, as the party’s consensus candidate,” it axxed.
According to the Forum, “Such maturity and political understanding have once again demonstrated that the APC remains a party of structure, consultation, and progressive vision.”
It added that his previous achievements in governance, leadership, infrastructural development, public service reforms, and political experience have continued to distinguish him as a capable and credible leader with the capacity to reposition Bauchi State and lead APC to victory in 2027.
The Forum added, “We also commend the other aspirants who participated in the process for their maturity, sportsmanship, and commitment to party unity. Democracy grows stronger when leaders place collective interest above personal ambition. We therefore call on all APC faithful, stakeholders, supporters, and political associates across the state to rally round, M. A. Abubakar, SAN, in order to secure victory for the APC and deliver the much-needed dividends of democracy to the people of Bauchi State.
The forum explained that, “As a faith-based political leadership forum, we remain confident that by the mercy and grace of God, victory shall be granted to our candidate in the 2027 General Elections.”
It stressed that, “The Scripture declares in Psalm 75:6-7, “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another. We also stand upon Isaiah 45:2: “I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight.”
It stressed that, “And according to Deuteronomy 28:13: And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath.”
It prayed that,”May Almighty God grant His Excellency greater wisdom, strength, favor, protection, and divine guidance as he prepares for the great task ahead. May God grant APC victory in Bauchi State in 2027 for the peace, progress, and development of our dear state,” and as contained in a statement signed by Apostle Daniel Yusuf Adamu, Coordinator, National APC Christian Leaders Forum of Nigeria (NACLFON), Bauchi State Chapter.
