The Niger State Ministry for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs has presented a proposed budget of ₦162,610,000 for the 2027 fiscal year to the Ministry of Budget and Planning.
The presentation, led by the Permanent Secretary, ESV James T. Bake, outlines planned investments aimed at strengthening administrative efficiency, improving service delivery, and enhancing operational capacity across the Ministry.
The proposal is structured around four key priority areas: office infrastructure, ICT development, records management, and operational needs, designed to support effective service delivery and modernise the Ministry’s operations.
The Ministry noted that the proposal reflects its commitment to improve working conditions, strengthening digital systems, safeguard official records, and ensuring smooth day to day operations in line with good governance standards.
It further explained that the budget was developed through the Planning, Research and Statistics (PRS) Department in collaboration with relevant units within the Ministry.
