Governor Bago Appoints Six Commissioners-Designate, Chief Political Adviser, three Special Advisers

Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has approved the appointment of six Commissioners-Designate, subject to confirmation by the State House of Assembly.
The appointees are Hon. Lucky Barau, Gurara Local Government Area,  Hon. Isah Wakili, Bosso Local Government Area,  Dr. Isah Adamu, Kontagora Local Government Area, Hon. Emmanuel Alamu, Magama Local Government Area,  Hon. Shuaibu Saidu Kaboji, Mashegu Local Government Area and Mohammed Danladi Garba, Borgu Local Government Area respectively.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the Niger State Government, (SSG) Alhaji Abubakar Usman and made available to the Newsmen on Monday in Minna ,further disclosed that Governor Bago also approved the appointment of Alhaji Nma Kolo as Chief Political Adviser. Yahaya Emilugi, Yusuf Tagwai and Mallam Salman Yusuf were named Special Advisers on Political Matters for Zones A, B and C respectively.
The SSG stated that the appointments form part of the present administration’s efforts to strengthen governance, improve service delivery and ensure broader representation across the State.
The Governor congratulated the appointees and urged them to apply their experience and commitment to the development of Niger State, the statement added.
The Commissioners-Designate are expected to appear before the House of Assembly for screening and confirmation in line with the law.
