Niger Health Ministry Fine -Tunes Preparations With  Integrate Ahead  Of Project  Dissemination Meeting .

Niger State Ministry of Health , in collaboration with the IntegratE Project team, has fine-tuned preparations for the State-Level Project Dissemination Meeting scheduled to hold on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in Minna.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Health and made available to Journalists on Tuesday in Mimma
The statement noted that the preparations were reviewed during a high-level meeting between the IntegratE Project team lead by Pharmacist Michael Alagbile, Director Health and Community System Strengthening, SFH, and the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Murtala Muhammad Bagana.
It stated further that during the meeting, the IntegratE team presented an overview of the project’s contributions to strengthening the health system in Niger State, while discussions focused on the opportunities for scale-up, and key areas for consideration at the forthcoming dissemination meeting.
It was further revealed that the meeting also reviewed key talking points and strategies for translating the project’s experiences and outcomes into practical interventions capable of strengthening healthcare delivery across the state.
The statement stressed that the Commissioner announced that the State Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba will serve as the Special Guest at the event.
The Public Relations Officer of the Ministry Usman Jibrin Kodo quoted the Commissioner of Health, to have “commended the IntegratE team for its technical support and partnership with the state, stressing the importance of evidence-based interventions in improving maternal, newborn and child health outcomes”.
He stressed that Dr. Murtala Bagana reiterated the commitment of the Niger State government, under the leadership of His Excellency,  Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, to strengthening the health sector through strategic partnerships, data-driven planning and interventions that deliver measurable improvements in the lives of citizens.
He directed that the dissemination meeting should culminate in clear and actionable recommendations that can be integrated into the State’s Annual Operational Plan and ongoing Primary Health Care programmes.
The IntegratE Project ishealth systems-strengthening initiative focused on improving access to quality family planning and child health services through integrated service delivery, strengthened referral pathways and improved health information and data systems.
The project works closely with State Ministries of Health, Primary Health Care Development Agencies and development partners to support sustainable improvements in healthcare delivery.
