The Bauchi Youth Discussion Cycle under the able chairmanship of Lipsa Daniel Ph.D has officially declared its support and adoption of Dr. YY Abdullahi (Sarkin Shanun Bauchi) as its preferred aspirant for the governorship of Bauchi State ahead of the 2027 political dispensation.
The development is coming as a sudden change in the political atmosphere of the State ahead of the primary election of the APC.
As political activities and consultations continue to gather momentum across Bauchi State, the organization said the time has come for the people to embrace a leader with vision, competence, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare and progress of the state.
Speaking on behalf of the organization, the Chairman, Lipsa Daniel Ph.D, stated that the decision to adopt Dr. YY Abdullahi followed extensive consultations with youths, community stakeholders, and political actors across the state.
According to him, Bauchi State stands at a critical point in its political history where the people are yearning for purposeful leadership capable of restoring confidence in governance and delivering meaningful development to all citizens.
“We believe that as the political atmosphere in Bauchi continues to take shape, if the people truly desire a man of dedication, competence, integrity, and compassion, then Dr. YY Abdullahi remains the answer to the dream of a new Bauchi State,” he stated.
The organization described Dr. YY Abdullahi as an experienced public servant, a visionary leader, and a committed advocate of youth empowerment and societal development.
The group further emphasized that his leadership qualities, humility, accessibility, and passion for humanity distinguish him as a worthy leader capable of moving Bauchi State to greater heights.
The Bauchi Youth Discussion Cycle noted that the future of the state must be entrusted to leaders with proven character, administrative experience, and genuine concern for the people, stressing that the era of empty promises and divisive politics should come to an end.
The group also maintained that many youths across the state now see in Dr. YY Abdullahi a leader capable of uniting the people, improving infrastructure, strengthening education, supporting local businesses, empowering the younger generation, and promoting peace and harmony across all communities irrespective of tribe, religion, or political affiliation.
At a time when many citizens are losing confidence in leadership, the emergence of Dr. YY Abdullahi has continued to inspire hope among the masses due to his calm disposition, listening ear, and commitment to development-oriented leadership.
The organization therefore called on all well-meaning citizens of Bauchi State, especially youths, women, elders, and political stakeholders, to rally behind the vision of a better and more prosperous Bauchi State by supporting the leadership aspirations of Dr. YY Abdullahi.
Indeed, as the political atmosphere in Bauchi State becomes clearer ahead of 2027, the voices of the people are growing louder and more united in their demand for credible and people-oriented leadership.
