ADC Governorship  Aspirant  Kidnapped, Killed After Ransom Was  Paid .

Kidnappers have captured and killed Alhaji Hon. Abba Anas Adamu Laushi on the Kaduna-Abuja highway while he was on his way to purchase his nomination form to contest for the Governorship of Jigawa State under the platform of ADC party.

He was was said to have been reportedly kidnapped along with one other person last Friday.

Further checks revealed that the abductors allegedly demanded a ransom of 75 million Naira, adding that the  other individual managed to escape, Hon. Abba Anas was however  tragically killed by the kidnappers even after they had received the ransom money.

His remains were said to be currently being transported to Kano.

 The deceased was a former Member of the House of Representatives, stressing that he served from 2007 to 2011.

The Constituency he represented then was  Birniwa, Guri, and Kirikasamma Federal Constituency in Jigawa State.

Political Ambition: Until his death, he was a gubernatorial aspirant for Jigawa State under the platform of ADC .

Sympathizers/ mourners who were said to have reacted to the slain politician’s Cold blooded murder described his death as  heartbreaking, noting that  he met his end at the hands of “these heartless criminals while on a journey to fulfill his political aspirations”.

They however prayed  that Almighty Allah grants him eternal rest and mercy.
