Ali Pate gets endorsement of Women Coalition Vanguard for Bauchi APC 2027 guber ticket

Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof Mohammed Ali Pate, though yet to officially declare interest in securing the gubernatorial ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), for Bauchi State in 2027, a Coalition of North-East All Progressives Congress (APC) Women Vanguard has endorsed his aspirations.

The endorsement was made by members of the Coalition on Saturday during a Press conference, led by Esther Madaki, on behalf of Coalition of North East APC Women Vanguard
Abuja.

Reading text of the conference, She stated, “Today, we stand united, resolute, and committed to the progress of Bauchi State and the success of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).”

According to Esther Madaki, “After wide consultations, critical assessment, and careful consideration of all aspirants vying for the governorship position in Bauchi State under the APC, we are proud to formally endorse Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, CON, the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, as our preferred and consensus candidate for the 2027 Bauchi State Governorship election.”

“Professor Muhammad Ali Pate has distinguished himself as a man of integrity, competence, and proven capacity. His track record in public service, both nationally and internationally, speaks volumes,” She added.

She added that, “He is a visionary leader who possesses the experience, exposure, and commitment required to reposition Bauchi State for sustainable development.”

The Coalition leader further stated that, “We firmly believe that among all those aspiring for the governorship under the APC in Bauchi State, Professor Pate stands out as the best among equals. His leadership style, inclusive approach, and dedication to human capital development make him the most suitable candidate to lead Bauchi State to greater heights.”

The Coalition therefore appealed to the President, Sen Bola Ahmed Tinubu, National Chairman of the APC, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, Members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and all APC stakeholders at both national and state levels to, in the interest of party unity, victory, and progress, adopt Professor Muhammad Ali Pate as the consensus candidate of the APC for the Bauchi State Governorship election.

“We make this call with strong conviction that if APC truly desires to win Bauchi State and secure massive support for President Tinubu in the state, then Professor Pate remains the most credible, acceptable, and sellable candidate across all demographics—youth, women, and elders,” She stressed.

On why Professor Ali Pate, She stated that, “He has the trust and confidence of the people. He has a proven record of delivering results. He enjoys wide acceptance across political, ethnic, and social divides. He represents competence, credibility, and capacity He is a unifying figure capable of bringing all factions together.”

Esther Madaki then stated that, “Our Commitment as women and critical stakeholders in the political process, we pledge our total support, mobilization strength, and grassroots engagement to ensure victory for the APC, should our call be honored.”

“We are ready to work tirelessly across the 20 Local Government Areas of Bauchi State to deliver overwhelming support for Professor Muhammad Ali Pate and the APC, She added.

She concluded that,”This endorsement is not just a political statement—it is a call for competence, a demand for credible leadership, and a collective aspiration for a better Bauchi State.”

She added, “We urge all well-meaning party members and the good people of Bauchi State to rally behind this noble cause. Together, we can build a stronger, more prosperous Bauchi State. Thank you and God bless.”
