The Bala Wunti Support Organisation (BWSO) has officially declared August 8 as “Dr. Bala Wunti Global Impact Day,” in recognition of the distinguished humanitarian, leader, and philanthropist’s outstanding contributions to human development, community transformation, and social empowerment.
The annual observance is designed to celebrate the enduring impact of Dr. Bala Wunti’s interventions and outreach programmes, which have positively transformed the lives of countless individuals and communities across Nigeria and beyond. Through sustained investments in education, healthcare support, youth development, women’s empowerment, leadership grooming, entrepreneurship, and poverty alleviation, Dr. Wunti has consistently demonstrated a commitment to uplifting humanity.
Announcing the declaration, the Chief Executive Officer of the Bala Wunti Support Organisation (BWSO), Mukhtar Jarmajo, described the initiative as a fitting tribute to a man whose life and work have become synonymous with hope, opportunity, and positive change.
According to Jarmajo, “Dr. Bala Wunti’s interventions have touched countless lives, giving hope to the hopeless, restoring dignity to vulnerable families, and creating opportunities for people who once had none.
