The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, Alhaji Sani Usman, on Monday, inspected ongoing renovation works at the Muhammad Wabi Library as well as the male and female students’ hostels.
He was taken round the project sites by the Director of Works, Engr. Ibrahim Idris as the Rector noted with satisfaction that work in all the locations has reached an advanced stage of completion.

Sani Usman described the Muhammad Wabi Library as one of the oldest structures in the Polytechnic, which requires a facelift to meet the standard of a modern reading and research centre.
On the hostels, the Rector said the renovation was informed by his administration’s commitment to providing a comfortable and conducive environment for students.
He assured that quality finishing would be ensured and urged the contractors to make judicious use of the funds appropriated and released for the projects.
He commended the Works Department for its effective supervision and commitment to quality delivery.
Earlier, while receiving the Rector at the Library, the Polytechnic Librarian, Malam Yusuf Garba Sintali, expressed appreciation to the Management for giving the library a new look, as contained in a statement signed by Mohammed Rabiu Wada, Director, Information and Public Relations.
