I’m a worrior, I fear no war, foes, no matter how fierce – Bala Mohammed

Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has declared that he is a warrior who does not fear war situation no matter how fierce it is.

He therefore unequivocally declared that he has no plans to dump the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for any other party for any reason whatsoever.

The Governor who is the Chairman, PDP Governors Forum, further declared that, “If I leave PDP for any political party, then, I am not the Kaura (warrior) that I am, but, a coward. A Kaura (warrior) does not run away from wars.”

Bala Mohammed stressed that he has no reason to dump the PDP under which he was elected as Governor for two terms by the people of Bauchi State stressing that,”People of Bauchi State have done a lot for me, I will not abandon them for whatever reason.”

The Governor made the declarations while hosting stakeholders from Ten Local Government Areas to a Ramadan Iftar in the ongoing Ramadan fast at the Government House, on Monday.

He assured that he will continue to remain in the PDP because of Nigeria’s democracy which needs a purposeful, formidable and virile opposition stressing that Nigeria is practicing a multi-party democratic system.

He used the occasion to charge faithful members of the PDP in the State to remain committed and ardent as well as resolute and supportive of the PDP and his administration to the end of the tenure.

He also assured that collectively Bau State will continue to grow and attain greater heights in all ramifications in terms of infrastructural development.

The Governor further assured residents of the State that his administration will continue to partner relevant stakeholders in the critical sectors of the economy so as to attract development and improve the living standards of the people for sustainable growth and development.

Various speakers during the religious activity including representatives from the Ten LGAs and stakeholders commended the Governor for his many developmental strides across the State without leaving any segments out irrespective of political affiliates.

Speaking variously, they pledged their loyalty and support declaring that they are ready to be with the Governor anywhete he is adding that, they will follow him to any direction he goes politically.

The Local Government Areas iincluded Darazo, Misau, Dambam, Zaki, Gamawa, Giade, Shira, Jama’are, Itas/ Gadau and Katagum.
