The National All Progressives Congress (APC) Christian Leaders Forum of Nigeria (NACLFON), Bauchi State Chapter, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the party’s governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections  and former Governor, Barr Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, SAN.

The delegation, led by Comrade M. S. Iliya, Director of the Barrister Aisha Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar Campaign Organization, included officials and members of NACLFON — a nationwide Christian support organization with structures across all 36 States, the FCT, and local government areas.

Speaking during the visit, Bauchi State Coordinator, Apostle Daniel Yusuf Adamu, said the meeting focused on strengthening civic engagement, encouraging peaceful participation in the electoral process, and promoting responsible leadership.

He noted that the Bauchi State Chapter has a well-established leadership structure and a vast membership base spread across all Local Government Areas of the state.

Apostle Adamu explained that every NACLFON member is first and foremost a card-carrying member of the APC, and must take an oath of allegiance to NACLFON before being formally registered into the Forum. “We don’t have two faces,” he said. “We are APC — front and back.”

The meeting, chaired by Alhaji Burahi Doya, featured goodwill messages and constructive contributions from members on unity, participation, and governance.

NACLFON also expressed special appreciation to Her Excellency Barrister Aisha Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar — affectionately referred to as “our mother” — for her consistent motherly love, support, and encouragement toward the Forum.

Apostle Daniel Yusuf Adamu added: “NACLFON will not just relate with him as His Excellency, but as our ‘Excellent Daddy,’ because of his love for the Christian community and his commitment to inclusive governance.”

The Forum reaffirmed its commitment to mobilizing for peaceful, values-driven participation in the democratic process.

In his remarks, the APC gubernatorial candidate thanked the delegation for the visit and acknowledged the role of faith-based organizations in promoting peace, unity, and development in Bauchi State.

M.A. Abubakar, SAN, stated that NACLFON and as a Christian support Organization in Bauchi is a critical stakeholder, and that the M.A.–Faruk ticket and led government will definitely ensure inclusiveness in their administration.
