The Secretary to Niger State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman, has reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the Niger State Government towards strengthening collaboration with security institutions to enhance safety, peace, and effective service delivery across the state.
The SSG made this known while receiving a delegation from the Armed Forces Command and Staff College on a study tour to Niger State.
He was represented at the occasion by the Permanent Secretary, General Services, Dr. Muhammad Muhammad Makusidi.
Alhaji Abubakar Usman noted that the administration of byGovernor Mohammed Umaru Bago places high premium on strategic partnerships with security agencies and relevant institutions as part of efforts to sustain peace and create an enabling environment for development.
He stated that the visit by the delegation underscores the importance of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and institutional engagement in addressing contemporary security challenges and improving governance outcomes.

The SSG further assured the delegation of the support and cooperation of the Niger State Government throughout the duration of their study tour.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Air Commodore O. O. Obasa explained that the visit formed part of the College’s study programme designed to expose participants to practical governance and security-related engagements at the sub-national level.
Senior officials in the entourage of the SSG included the Director of Administration, Malam Abdullahi Uregi, Director of Finance, Alhaji Abdullahi Hassan Wasagi (FCNA), among others.
