Niger CP Receives Newly Deployed  Customs  Area Comptroller, Assures  Of Cooperation, Collaboration And Team Work 

The Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, mnips received the newly deployed Customs Area Comptroller, Niger/Kogi Area Command CC M.S Umar, mni on a courtesy visit at the State Police Command Headquarters, Dutsen-Kura Minna on Monday 13th April, 2026.

This was contained in a Press statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO ) Niger State Command, SP Wasiu Abiodun and made available to Journalists on Monday in Minna

The statement added that in his courtesy message, the Customs Area Comptroller appreciated the Commissioner of Police for the warm reception, stressing  that the purpose of the visit was to familiarise with the Police Command, synergise and seek collaboration.

He stated that there is a need to key into the security architecture on ground towards ensuring a sustainable peace in our society.

In his response, the Commissioner of Police expressed delight at receiving the new Area Comptroller, stating that no agency can do it alone, even as a lead agency in internal security, the Police must synergise and work with other security agencies to achieve the desired result.

The CP, emphasised on joint security operations and teamwork to fight criminality in our environment.

Finally, he assured the Comptroller  of sustaining the existing relationships, whilst expressing commitment to better synergy and collaboration.

He wished the Area Comptroller a successful duty tour in the State.
