The Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command, CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, mnips paid a visit to the venue of the ongoing 2025/2026 Police Recruitment Physical and Credential Screening Exercise at Police Secondary School, Minna on Tuesday March 10th, 2026.
The CP was accompanied by the Hon. Commissioner for Homeland Security, Barr. Maurice Bello Magaji and the Federal Commissioner representing Niger State at the Federal Character Commission, Hon. Jibril Isah Bida during the inspection of the screening exercise.
The Commissioner of Police and other dignitaries were taken round through the stages of the screening exercise by the head of the screening team DCP Isyaku Usman and Mr Ahmed Gimba of the Police Service Commission.
The visiting team commended the screening exercise and expressed satisfaction with the process stating that the ongoing exercise is being conducted under a conducive environment, very transparent and professional with a high level of accountability.
The Federal Character Commission, State Government and the PCRC were also on ground to observe and ensure that indigenes of Niger State are enlisted into the Force.
The Commissioner of Police reiterated his satisfaction with the process, lauding the efforts of the Police Service Commission and the Police Force Headquarters in ensuring proper coordination, professionalism and credibility of the recruitment process, while assuring that the Police Command in collaboration with the State Government will continue to support and assist the screening team where necessary to succeed in their official assignment.
He further appreciated the efforts of all involved in the exercise and emphasized zero-tolerance for corrupt practices whilst stating that the exercise was completely free for all applicants.
