Niger State Government has disclosed plans to open up the Niger State water Bottling Company
The State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, made the disclosure when he inspected facilities at the Golden Age Hi-Tech and Product Company in Minna.
The Governor who expressed delight with what he saw at the Company said, “the Niger State government will work closely with the Company as it gets set to open up the Niger State water Bottling Company.”
Umaru Bago stated that his government, through the Ministry of Water resources as well as that of Commerce, Trade and Industry, will liaise with the Company to seek assistance and advice in setting up the Company.
The Governor also acknowledged the CEO of Golden Age Company for his contributions to the socio-economic status of the state through industrialization and for providing employment opportunities for the teeming youth.
He then advised the employees of the company to ensure that they remain disciplined and honest in carrying out their duties and be thankful for having an avenue to be productive and self-sufficient.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Golden Age Hi-Tech and product Company, Chidi Anthony Okoli, who took the Governor round the 12 Departments in the Company, appreciated the Governor for the visit and for providing an enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the State.
He expressed the company’s willingness to continue partnering with the state government and contribute to the overall growth and development of the state.
The Governor was taken round to inspect some of the Departments in the Company which includes the sachet water spot, bottle water and pet blow factories, crunching washing and recycling department, material control, workshop and injection departments and the printing, as well as plastic leather department.
