Bread sellers association honours Minna based philanthropist, Shuaibu Sani

Wealthy individuals in the country have been charged to use their God-given wealth to impact on the less privileged in the society with the view  to reduce the increasing rates of poverty in the country.

A Minna based philanthropist, Alhaji Shuaibu Sani gave the advice while receiving an award presented to him by a group of Bread sellers and distribution association of Nigeria,(BSDA), Niger State chapter.

He observed that the rates of poverty among Nigerians will be reduced to the barest minimum  if well to do citizens in the country use their wealth to impact on the needy in the society.

He described as painful the increasing level of poverty among Nigerians particularly the youths,women and the vulnerable, urging that it will get out of control if urgent steps were not taken by wealthy individuals to use their wealth to touch the lives of the poor in the country.

According to the philanthropist. who is also the Talban Chanchaga in Bosso Local Government Area of Niger State,highlighting that  most of the social vices among the youths in the country particularly within the Northern region could be traceable to unemployment, suggesting that creating skills acquisition programmes will assist in the reduction of poverty in the country.

Speaking further, Alhaji Shuaibu Sani urged youths to guide against any act that will be inimical to their future noting that as the future leaders of the country,  they should steer clear of any social vices that will destroy their talents.

He further admonished the youths to engage themselves in meaningful ventures that would make them useful to themselves, and society in general.

While appreciating the association for seeing him worthy for the award, Alhaji Shuaibu Sani described the award as a challenge that will spur him to continue to use his little wealth to touch the lives of the less privileged in the society

He assured association of his unalloyed and continued support to the progress of the association at all times.
