Essential food items and cash worth millions of Naira have been gifted to people of Lame State Constituency of Toro LGA in Bauchi State as Ramadan palliative by a young politician and youths leader, Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama.
The gesture, which took place on Sunday, saw the distribution of 100 bags of 10kg rice, 150 bags of 5kg rice, and 350 clothes to orphanages and other vulnerable members of the community.

Additionally, a million Naira cash was handed over to the constituents as part of the Ramadan charity drive.
The event, which was flagged off by the newly elected All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman of Toro Local Government, Comrade Idris Musa Matawai, was described as timely and commendable.
Comrade Matawai praised Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama’s gesture, stating that it was one of the best considering the economic challenges faced by the constituents.
The distribution event attracted party leaders from the local government, including women and youth groups, as well as members of the Rahama community.
The turnout was a testament to the respect and admiration the community has for Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama.
Comrade Matawai also commended the efforts of Rt. Hon. Ukkasha Hamza Rahama in promoting unity and peaceful coexistence among the people of Lame constituency.
He urged the constituents to continue supporting the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC government.
