The philanthropist and prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State, Dr. Bala Maijama’a Wunti, has once again demonstrated his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment through the facilitation of employment opportunities for three indigenes of the state.

This milestone was marked by the formal presentation of appointment letters to the beneficiaries at the Federal Medical Center, Birnin Kudu, Jigawa State, where the newly employed youths are set to begin their professional careers.

The employment opportunities were secured through the Bala Wunti Support Organisation (BWSO), a platform dedicated to advancing youth development, promoting social impact, and fostering inclusive growth across Bauchi State.

Representing Dr. Wunti at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of BWSO, Muktar Ahmad Jarmajo, conveyed his principal’s deep conviction that empowering young people with sustainable livelihoods is critical to building a stable and prosperous society.

He emphasized that the initiative goes beyond immediate job placement, forming part of a broader vision to nurture responsible, skilled, and value-driven leaders who will contribute meaningfully to the development of Bauchi State and Nigeria at large.

Dr. Wunti reiterated that investing in human capital remains one of the most effective strategies for addressing unemployment, reducing poverty, and strengthening community resilience.

He further charged the beneficiaries to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, dedication, and integrity in their respective roles, noting that they carry not only personal aspirations but also the hopes and pride of Bauchi State.

The beneficiaries were also encouraged to serve as role models within their communities, inspiring other young people to pursue excellence and embrace opportunities for growth and self-reliance.

This initiative reflects Dr. Wunti’s consistent efforts to create pathways for youth advancement, combining employment generation with mentorship and leadership development.

As part of his broader developmental agenda, Dr. Wunti continues to champion programmes that empower young people, expand access to opportunities, and build a future where the youth of Bauchi State are equipped to thrive and lead in an increasingly competitive world.

The latest achievement reinforces his reputation as a leader committed to practical impact, demonstrating that sustainable development is best driven by deliberate investments in people and their potential.

Those employed are Sadiq Abubakar Yusuf of Wayqn Makafi in Bauchi metropolis, Ummukhursum Muhammad from Katagum LGA, and Ruth Martins from Dass local government area, as contained in a statement by Abubakar Al-Sadique, Chief Communication Officer, BWSO.
