Gov Bago commended for supporting health tech education

 The incumbent administration in Niger State under the leadership of Governor Umaru Muhammad Bago has been applauded for its bold initiative to support the  re-accreditation of three courses by the regulatory bodies at the Niger State College of Health Technology Minna to enable the institution compete favourably with its counterparts internally.

The Acting Provost of the institution, Mrs Zullaihat  Muhammad Abdullahi  stated this while interacting with  Journalists in her office on the developmental  strides  of the College and its effort to reposition the school for optimal performance in conformity with international standards.

Mrs. Zullaihat was emphatic in highlighting the tremendous support the college enjoyed from the government towards accreditation of courses  that will lead to the awards  of National diploma Certificates to the graduates of the institution.

She explained  that already the National Board for Technical Education (NABTE) has visited the college for accreditation of three courses and have been satisfied with the award of certificates after completion.

Mrs. Muhammad was optimistic with the development and pointed out that all hands are on deck by both Students and Staff of the college to work assiduously to achieve academic excellence.

On the admission policy of the institution the acting Provost explained that all necessary mechanisms have been put in place to checkmate fake admissions in the college with disciplinary action and dismissal for any one found wanting in that direction.

Mrs. Muhammad tasked all stakeholders in the health sector to support the college in its efforts to attain academic excellence in the health sector in conformity with international standards.
