Governor Inuwa Yahaya Leads Gombe APC Delegates to National Convention in Abuja

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has led the Gombe State APC delegates to the National Convention of the party taking place at the Eagle Square, Abuja, where the state stood out with a commanding presence.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya, who is the leader of the APC in Gombe State and a key figure in the party’s national structure as Renewed Hope Ambassador and National Secretary for Party Outreach and Engagement, is in company of his Deputy, Manassah Daniel Jatau, alongside an array of influential political actors from the state.

They include the Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, serving and former federal lawmakers, the Minister of Transportation and former Minister of Communications and digital economy, the Speaker and members of the Gombe State House of Assembly, APC State Executive Committee members, members of Gombe State Executive Council, eminent party stalwarts and other prominent stakeholders and big wigs.

The national convention has in attendance, the full spectrum of the party’s leadership, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, the leadership of the National Assembly, APC governors, and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) and other stakeholders.

The Gombe contingent is one of the most visible and organized at the convention, and its strong outing is not unconnected with Governor Inuwa Yahaya’s consolidating leadership and commitment to party cohesion as well as his constant promotion of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The convention is still ongoing, with deliberations and formal processes underway ahead of the emergence of a new party leadership, as contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General (Press Affairs), Government House, Gombe.
