The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Nigeria, has called on the Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, to work with it as he concludes arrangements to dump the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for another political party.

IPAC, stated that such liason is very necessary in order to have inputs in assisting him in making a better choice.

Leadership of IPAC in Bauchi State made the call while addressing Journalists in Bauchi on Wednesday, welcoming his decision to move to another party considering the irrecobciable situation of the PDP.

IPAC added that as the coordinator of political activities in the country, it is ever ready to take the lead in the preparation for the Governor’s movement to another political party.

Bauchi State Chairman of IPAC, Hon. Auwal Isa, stressed that, “Bala Mohammed has the constitutional right to associate with any political party of his choice in order to be able to participate effectively in political activities.

He added that,”We are aware that many political parties are courting him, they want him to be in their camp because of his political relevance not only in Bauchi State but in Nigeria as a whole. Anywhere he goes, the place will definitely shake and be filled with activities.”

The IPAC Chairman added,”We are ready to take the lead, to advice him appropriately on which political party to join but if he has made a decision on where to go to, we are ready to lead him there.”

IPAC then urged the Governor to ensure that whatever step he is taking is in the collective interest of Bauchi State first and the country at large.
