Mokwa Trailer Park  Project  Gains  Momentum As Stakeholders  Meet Ahead Of Executive Council  Presentation

In a clear demonstration of the Niger State Government’s commitment to strategic infrastructure development, investment promotion, and economic transformation, key stakeholders converged on  Tuesday, 27th January, 2026 for the Mokwa Trailer Park Stakeholders’ Meeting held at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Investment and Private Sector Development, NSDC Complex (Glass House), Minna.
The high level meeting served as a critical coordination platform to fine-tune and align the project presentation by Trucks Transit Parks Ltd. (TTP), the investors and Achineering Nigeria Limited, the project designers, ahead of their formal presentation to the Niger State Executive Council scheduled for Thursday, 29th January, 2026, at Government House, Minna.
The Chief Information Officer of the Niger State Ministry of Investment and Private Sector Development, Ismaila Musa stated this in a Press statement issued and made available to Journalists on Tuesday in Minna .
The statement added that the presentations were delivered by Alhaji Baba Kudu Mohamed, Director General of the Niger State Industrial Park Development Agency, on behalf of Trucks Transit Parks Ltd., and the Managing Director of Achineering Nig. Ltd, who unveiled the technical and architectural framework of the project.
Ismaila Musa stated further that the meeting attracted top government functionaries and strategic partners, including Hon. Aminu Suleman Takuma, Commissioner for Investment and Private Sector Development; Barr. Maurice B. Magaji, Commissioner for Homeland Security, Hon. Abdullahi Maje, Commissioner for Transport,  Mrs. Helen Williams, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Investment; Ambassador Abdullahi Jibrin Muregi, Executive Chairman of Mokwa Local Government; Dr. Abubakar Mohamad, Director General of NISEPA; representatives of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC); and representatives of the Ndadile of Mokwa, among others.
Speaking at the meeting, Hon. Aminu Suleman Takuma emphasized the need for a united, well-structured, and result-oriented approach, stressing that all stakeholders must “put the house in order” to ensure a solid, convincing, and people focused presentation to His Excellency, Farmer Governor Umaru Mohamed Bago, whose administration has continued to prioritize investments that create jobs, enhance safety on highways, and unlock local economic opportunities.
In his remarks, Hon. Abdullahi Jibrin Muregi, the Executive Chairman of Mokwa Local Government Council and host of the engagement, applauded the visionary leadership of the state government and described the Mokwa Trailer Park project as a game changer for commerce, security, and youth employment in the area.
Muregi assured stakeholders of the unwavering support of the people of Mokwa and called for deeper community level engagements within Mokwa Local Government to ensure ownership, cooperation, and sustainable implementation.
Meanwhile, the stakeholders’ meeting reaffirmed the collective resolve of the Niger State Government, private sector partners, and host communities to deliver impact-driven infrastructure that aligns with the New Niger Agenda of inclusive growth, private sector participation, and sustainable development.
