The Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Hon. Mustapha Ndajuwo, has convened a strategic meeting with agencies under the Ministry to strengthen coordination, improve collaboration, and enhance service delivery.
The meeting, held at the Commissioner’s office, was attended by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Idris Abdullahi Legbo, alongside representatives of key agencies including the State Independent Electoral Commission, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Office, Niger State Printing Press, and the Niger State Fire Service.
Discussions during the engagement centred on operational challenges affecting the agencies, including inadequate funding, manpower shortages, lack of operational vehicles, and office accommodation constraints.
Speaking during the session, Hon. Ndajuwo stressed the importance of inter-agency synergy in achieving the Ministry’s mandate, noting that effective collaboration remains critical to efficient governance and improved public service delivery.
The Commissioner assured the agencies of his commitment to addressing their concerns and creating a more enabling environment for them to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
In his remarks, the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Legbo, urged the agencies to remain proactive, committed, and diligent in the discharge of their duties.
He encouraged sustained dedication to service while expressing confidence that the challenges raised would receive the attention of the Ministry under the leadership of the Commissioner.
Representatives of the agencies commended the Commissioner for providing a platform for constructive engagement and reaffirmed their commitment to working collectively towards the successful implementation of government programmes and policies.
