NewNiger – Development Beyond Roads and Bridges

Written by Timely Post News
*On the road to redemption, many may fall by the wayside. But when your vision is clear and your mission is achievable, no obstacle can prevent you from reaching your destination.*
Despite significant security challenges that have required substantial emergency spending to protect lives and property across Niger State, the remarkable achievements of the Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago-led administration extend far beyond its massive investments in infrastructure.
The administration has remodelled the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport, Minna, positioning it for international operations while strengthening the state’s aviation and economic capacity.
It has also cleared nearly ₦7 billion in gratuity arrears, ensured the prompt payment of pensions, implemented the ₦80,000 minimum wage alongside wage awards, recruited about 2,500 healthcare professionals and approximately 10,000 young Nigerlites into the civil service, and created over 100,000 direct and indirect jobs through its Urban Renewal Programme.
The train has left the station, and the destination is a New Niger built on progress, opportunity, and shared prosperity.
*Join the BAGO moving train. Be part of the journey. Be part of history. Be part of the New Niger.*
