Bauchi State Commissioner of Housing and Environment, Rt Hon Danlami Ahmed Kawule, on Sunday, donated the sum of N15m in cash and office equipment worth N10m to the campaign organization of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) for the 2027 general elections.
He made the donation while officially commissioning the office complex along Gombe road under the aegis, ‘Kauran Bauchi Like minds’ comprising politicians from the main opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Allied People’s Movement (APM).
Danlami Ahmed Kawule also facilitated an alliance between the PDP and the APM in order to ensure victory for all the candidates of the party in the 2027 governorship elections.
Speaking at the ceremony, Danlami Ahmed Kawule declared that the alliance between the APM and the PDP is to ensure that the candidates of the two parties, particularly the gubernatorial candidate won the election.
He added that the alliance will engage in vigorous village to village, town to town, ward to ward, LGA to LGA campaigns to sell the candidates and solicit for votes for them during the elections.
According to him, “We are Kauran Bauchi Like minds, we are ardent followers of Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed and we are ready to do everything humanly possible to ensure that all our candidates including the Governor won their respective elections in 2027.”
He called on card carrying members of the two parties to get their PVCs ready in order to be able to cast their votes during the elections.
The Commissioner however called on the youths not to engage in acts of thuggery during campaigns no matter what the opposition may do to provoke them.
Also speaking, an Elder politician in the State, Sen Ibrahim Adamu Gumba, commended the facitation of the alliance between PDP and the APM saying that it will lead to victory for all the candidates.
He commended Rt Hon Danlami Ahmed Kawule for facitating the process urging him to deploy more energy toward vigorous campaigns just as he did in 2023 under the PDP.
Leaders of the two parties in the State welcome the alliance and pledged to work together for electoral victory cone 2027.
During the ceremony money was disbursed to the Executive members of the two parties for the purposes of running their joint party offices and Mobilization of members.
