Bala Wunti Support Organisation Condoles Zaranda Community, Supports Victims of fatal Road crash

In a profound demonstration of compassion and solidarity, the Bala Wunti Support Organisation (BWSO) has extended its heartfelt condolences to the families affected by the recent tragic road accident that claimed the lives of 11 individuals from Zaranda community in Toro Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

The unfortunate incident, which has cast a pall of grief over the entire community, also left approximately 30 others with varying degrees of injuries. Many of the injured are currently receiving medical attention and responding to treatment at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi (ATBUTH)

As part of its humanitarian outreach, BWSO led a high-powered delegation comprising management and staff on a condolence visit to the bereaved families in Zaranda.

The delegation was led on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer, Architect Mukhtar Jarmajo, by the Chief of Operations, Alhaji Ladan Salihu Kangere.

During the visit, Alhaji Kangere conveyed BWSO’s deep sympathy, urging families, friends and associates of the deceased to find solace in Allah during this difficult time.

He emphasised the importance of unity and resilience in the face of tragedy and offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the departed souls.

“Our hearts go out to the people of Zaranda in this moment of grief. We stand with you, not just in words but in action, as you navigate this painful loss,” he stated.

In further demonstration of its commitment to community support, BWSO provided financial assistance to both the families of the deceased and those injured in the accident, aimed at alleviating immediate burdens and supporting ongoing medical care.

The delegation also visited injured victims at ATBUTH, offering words of encouragement and solidarity.

The team reassured them of continued support and wished them a speedy recovery.

Responding on behalf of the community, the District Head of Zaranda, Imam Zubairu Yakubu, expressed profound gratitude to BWSO for its timely intervention and compassionate gesture.

“This act of kindness has brought comfort to our people in a time of immense sorrow. It shows that we are not alone, and we deeply appreciate this support. We pray that Almighty Allah rewards the organisation abundantly,” he said.

Also speaking on behalf of the injured victims, Malam Adamu Musa, whose wife is among those hospitalized, commended BWSO for its empathy and assistance.

“The support we have received today gives us hope and strength. Knowing that people care about our situation makes a great difference as we care for our loved ones,” he remarked.

BWSO reaffirmed its commitment to humanitarian service and community development, noting that it will continue to stand with vulnerable communities in times of need, as contained in a statement signed by Abubakar Al- Sadique, Chief Communications Officer, Bala Wunti Support Organisation.
