Bauchi State Police Commissioner, Sani-Omolori Aliyu, on Wednesday, led Heads of Security agencies operating in the State to Mansur village in Alkaleri LGA, for the second time, in a space of one week, to further assess the security situation in the area.
The visit was aimed at assessing the tempo in the town and evaluating the alertness of the men deployed there.
The CP was received by the District Head of Mansur, Alhaji Mohammed Inuwa Abubakar in his palace.
Addressing the stakeholders, the CP disclosed that the visit was to assess the deployment of the security assets, which comprises the Police, Army, DSS, NSCDC, members of Nigerian Forest Security Services and vigilantes.
He further assured the good people of Mansur security agencies’ preparedness to ensure safety of lives and property in the town and its environs.
Sani-Omolori Aliyu also visited the Forward Operational Base (FOB) under construction in Mansur, and charged the deployed personnel to be steadfast, professional and deny breathing space to the miscreants.
He assured them that their welfare and operational resources are topmost priorities.
The CP expressed his gratitude to the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammad, for the continuos unwavering support to the cause of maintaining peace and security in the State.
It would be recalled that on 22nd January, 2026, the CP and heads of other sister agencies visited Mansur to assess the security situation in the town.
Consequently, all agencies, including hunters and vigilantes deployed massively to the town to address the security challenges and restore peace, as contained in a statement signed by SP Nafiu Habib, Police Public Relations Officer.
