Dr. Junaidu Inuwa Repositions DPRS, Strengthens ICT, Planning Synergy at NSPHCDA

The Executive Director of the Niger State Primary Health Care Development Agency, (NSPHCDA) Dr. Junaidu Inuwa, has emphasized the importance of strong collaboration between the Departments of Planning, Research and Statistics (DPRS), ICT, and Monitoring & Evaluation in driving effective healthcare delivery.
He stated this while speaking at a meeting in the Agency’s conference hall, in Minna , Niger State, describing ICT as a critical arm of DPRS and urged both units to work closely to improve data management and service outcomes.
And as part of ongoing administrative reforms, Dr. Inuwa officially handed over the leadership of DPRS to Dr. Mustapha Makanta as Acting Director, following due directive from the Honorable Commissioner, Dr Murtala Bagana from the Ministry of Health.
 He encouraged him to build staff capacity, promote teamwork, and leverage his experience as a public health practitioner, researcher, and former HOPE Project Manager to strengthen the department.
In his remarks, Dr. Makanta appreciated the confidence reposed in him and pledged to work collaboratively with staff to enhance planning, research, and data systems in support of quality primary healthcare services across the state.
