Faruk Mustapha severes political relationship with Gov Bala Mohammed, dumps APM

The 2023 Director-General of the Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed and former Commissioner of Special Duties and Rural Development, Hon Faruk Mustapha has severe political relationship with Bala Mohammed.

Faruk Mustapha who had nursed the ambition of becoming the Governor but denied the gubernatorial ticket has officially resigned membership of the Allied People’s Movement (APM).

He resigned through a letter to that effect, addressed to the State Chairman, Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM), Bauchi State Chapter through the Ward Chairman, APM, Nasarawa Bakin Kasuwa Ward in Katagum LGA dated 5th, May 2026 titled: “Letter of Resignation from Membership of the Allied People’s Movement (APM)”

“I write to formally tender my resignation from my membership of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM), with Membership Number
APM/05/BAU/012 with effect from 5th May, 2026. This resignation takes immediate effect from the date stated above,” he wrote.

According to him,”Consequently, I hereby relinquish all rights, privileges, responsibilities,
and obligations associated with my membership of the party and
request that my name be removed from the party’s register and records accordingly.”

He added that, “I sincerely appreciate the support, cooperation, and opportunities
extended to me by the party and its leadership at all levels during my period of membership. Kindly accept this letter as official notification of my resignation and
update your records accordingly.”

When contacted, Faruk Mustapha confirmed the development explaining that he took the decision after a wide consultations and in the best interest of his political future.

Asked what is the next destination politically, he said that,”I am still consulting, very pretty soon, I will make public where we are going to for the 2027 general elections.”

He called on his supporters and other well wishers to remain calm and get ready to act as soon as a decision was made.
