The Governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Niger State, Dr. Mohammed Kpautagi, has unveiled his running mate in the person of former State Commissioner of Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Mamman Musa Bosso, who he described as a young, dynamic politician.
Speaking at the unveiling held in Minna on Wednesday at the IBB Pen House, he said that the party is committed to serve Nigerians that have waited for too long in distress.
According to him, “Our administration will be solely committed to people oriented project that will improve the standards of living, particularly mothers in the market still crying over the high cost of commodities, graduates who are still roaming the streets,bad roads, absence of Medicine in our hospitals, and insecurity challenges which has affected farmers to get asses to farming activities.”
The ADC governorship candidate pointed out that the ADC government in 2027 will not engage in cosmetic projects like construction of flyovers, rather,”we will run government of inclusiveness,a government of the people by the people and for the people.”
Mohammed Kpautagi further disclosed that construction of flyovers is detrimental to the people’s immediate needs and expressed worries on the incessant Armed Bandits attacks and kidnappings of innocent and defenceless people for ransom .
He said that the Government of ADC will work with various security agencies in collaboration with local vigilantes in the state with a view to put to rest the imbroglio.
He noted that Health and Education will be the top most priority, by making health centres across the local government areas functional, provide qualified teachers, books and a good learning environment.
He assured that, “Ways will be initiated to improve the state economy by supporting our traders, farmers and youth to boost their small businesses, presently there are a lot of petty traders that are out of jobs.”
“As a retired federal civil servants payment of pensioners will also be reviewed, decried that it is unusual to allow retired civil servants to stay for several years after serving for 35 years”, he further declared.
The Governorship candidate expressed his appreciation to be associated with the political stalwarts in his ADC team which has given the rulling party, APC sleepless nights and a serious fight for most exalted position in the State
He stressed, “With my Deputy, Mamman Musa, we are not coming with magic wand, but with hard work, transparency and the fear of God and Nigerlites support, in 2027 is not about party but our children’s future.”
“Let us rescue our state,let us make ADC the vehicle for a new beginning, with prayers, your support and your votes,ADC will form government of unity and transparency both at the state and National levels in 2027,” said Mohammed Kpautagi.
In his acceptance speech, the former Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon Mamman Musa, appreciated the governorship candidate, Dr. Mohammed Kpautagi, freinds, associates for the trust and confidence for nominating him, saying,”let us s team up and committed in ADC for making 2027 general polls a reality.
