Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the District Head of Bolari, Alhaji Ahmadu Abubakar, who passed away in Gombe after a brief illness.

In a condolence message, Governor Inuwa Yahaya described the late traditional ruler as a respected figure whose leadership was marked by a genuine commitment to the welfare of his people, the preservation of peace and the progress of the state.

The Governor said although Alhaji Ahmadu Abubakar’s time on the traditional leadership stool was short, his conduct and disposition demonstrated a deep sense of responsibility, humility and dedication to the service of his people.

“The Bolari District Head’s demise is a great loss not only to his immediate community but also to Gombe State, particularly at a time when the wisdom, experience and commitment of traditional leaders remain crucial to sustaining peace, unity and development at the grassroots,” the Governor said.

Governor Inuwa Yahaya extended his deepest condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the Emir of Gombe, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, CFR, the people of Bolari District and the entire Gombe South Local Council Development Area, urging them to take solace in the values of service and leadership that the late District Head exemplified.

He prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, accept his good deeds and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, as contained in a statement signed by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General (Press Affairs), Government House, Gombe.
