Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has
emphasized his administration’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for investors, improving agricultural productivity, and strengthening security architecture to safeguard lives, property, and economic activities across the state.
The Governor made the assertion when he engaged with member countries of the European Union (EU), in a high-level meeting aimed at strengthening partnerships in critical sectors of development.
The meeting was held at the European Union Headquarters, Abuja, with the EU delegation led by the European Union Ambassador to Nigeria, His Excellency Gautier Mignot.
Reports have it that discussions centered on enhancing collaboration in trade, investment, security, and agriculture.
The meeting provided a strategic platform to explore opportunities that will further position Bauchi State as an attractive destination for international partnerships and sustainable economic growth.
During the meeting, Bala Mohammed, reiterated that his administration remained committed to creating an enabling environment for investors, improving agricultural productivity, and strengthening security architecture to safeguard lives, property, and economic activities across the state.
He emphasized that Bauchi State remains open to strategic partnerships that promote inclusive growth and long-term development.
In his remarks, Ambassador Gautier Mignot expressed enthusiasm over the Governor’s vision and reform-driven approach.
He commended the strategic direction of the Bauchi State Government and assured that the European Union would actively explore identified areas of collaboration, particularly in agriculture value chains, economic development, and institutional support.
The Governor was accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Dr. Aminu Gamawa, and the Commissioner of Finance and Economic Development, Yakubu Adamu, who both contributed to deliberations focused on deepening economic cooperation and expanding development opportunities for the people of Bauchi State.
