The Management and staff of Niger Foods security systems and logistics Company Limited have congratulated His Excellency, Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State on the groundbreaking ceremony of the Mohammed Umaru Bago Agricultural Research Centre in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of Umaru Sanda Ahmadu College of Education, Minna.
The Chairman of Niger Foods Security Systems and Logistics Company,Mr. Samy Adgun said the landmark initiative reflects His Excellency,Governor Umaru Bago’s
unwavering commitment to agricultural transformation, food security, research, and sustainable development in Niger State.
Sammy Adigun stated further that the establishment of this centre is a bold step toward empowering farmers, strengthening agricultural value chains, and positioning the state as a leading hub for innovation in Nigeria.
According to him, “We sincerely commend the family of Dr. Umaru Sanda for their noble vision and generous sponsorship of this laudable project. Their dedication to preserving his legacy through investment in agricultural research and education is both inspiring and impactful.
“We also acknowledge the vital role of the Saleh Ahmadu Foundation and the management of Umaru Sanda Ahmadu College of Education, Minna for keying into the family’s initiative to establish this Agricultural Research Centre, which will significantly contribute to agricultural development and strengthen food security efforts”.
Adigun noted that as a company deeply rooted in food production and logistics, “we recognize the immense benefits this centre will bring in enhancing research-driven farming practices, boosting productivity, and creating economic opportunities for our people.
